From our base in Morzine we are situated
near to a number of good courses. All within an hours drive
and with free transfers included you will not have to worry
about getting there. To guarantee this service it helps
if solely golfers book the chalet so that the minibus is
not required elsewhere. Green fees are not included and
are payable at the courses, where clubs and buggies are
also available for hire.
The courses offer some of the most spectacular scenery in Europe, whether it is snow-capped peaks or the lakeside course at Evian, you are sure to be inspired. Morzine-Avoriaz (3030m) Tel:- 00 33 450 741708 Situated at the entrance to Avoriaz underneath the Telesiege du Proclou. This is a splendid 9 hole, par 36 course, designed by Hug\ues Lambert. It is nearly 1800m above sea level at its peak. Les Gets (5226m) Tel:- 00 33 450 758763 This course is open from mid June through to the end of October and is situated on the wide ridge between Morzine and Les Gets. It is an 18 hole par 72 built. Unless you are reasonably fit a buggy or quad bike is recommended. Chamonix (6076m) Tel:- 00 33 450 530628 The golf club of Chamonix is situated in a glacier valley between Mont Blanc chain and the red needles. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior and is an 18 hole par 72. For any non-golfers you can take a trip up to the 'Aiguille du midi' in the highest cable car in the world. Royal Parc Evian (6006m) Tel:- 00 33 450 268500 Certainly the best in the area and the host for the 'European tour Evian Ladies Masters' This 18 hole par 72 course has amazing views of Lake Geneva. Flaine - Les Carroz (4063m) Tel:- 00 33 450 908544 Fluctuating around 1800m above sea level, this 18 hole par 63 course offers an awesome panoramic view. Although not long this course is technically challenging. Megeve (6100m) Tel:- 00 33 450 212979 This is an 18 hole par 72 course situated on the 'Mont d'arbois Plateau' designed by Henry Cotton. Esery (----m) Tel:- 00 33 450 365870 Golf and country club d'esery is an 18 hole par 72 course set away from the noise and bustle of town life. The course hosted the Swiss professional championships in 1994 and the 1st series of the French championships in 1995. It offers what every golfer wants:- nature, silence and a beautiful environment.
